Totem Middle School

An introductory 7th & 8th grade course into the world of graphic design.  Students will primarily be working on Lenova thinkpad laptops, Wacom drawing tablets and using Adobe Photoshop software. Through this semester long course students will gain an understanding on the basic tools, concepts and skills surrounding design.  Lessons will be tied to various areas in which design work applies in today's world.  In the process of learning these tools, students will also be creating work that addresses different areas of graphic design elements and principles.  Lessons are aligned to both the 21st Century skills, and WA State Arts standards.  Please visit the "course syllabus" link below for a more detailed overview of the course.
